"Music must be as much a part of life as breathing. A firm foundation in music will enhance one’s learning and life to its fullest extent. It is my personal drive not only to experience music to its fullest, but to do everything I can to bring this joy to others, through education and performance opportunities."

A Phi Beta Kappa scholar with a degree in music, Cathy Lemmon has a love of music which colors her entire world. She has participated in musical events in many places here as well as in Canada and Europe. Original works of hers have been performed here and abroad as well.

But education and experience of any kind does little good unless, in some way, it is shared.

Cathy has taught in a number of different positions, from private students to classroom settings to workshops with students of all ages. She homeschools her children and is thrilled to help others in that pursuit.

Active in the music scene, playing with the Helena Symphony and teaching at the Music Makers’ Conservatory as well as privately, Cathy is happy to pursue opportunities for all of her students as they explore their own musical talents.

It is Cathy’s personal philosophy to reach her students from where they are and to bring them to where she knows they can go.
