Heather Barnes received a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Toronto. She also completed grade nine piano studies and with The Royal Conservatory of Music. As a soloist she has performed the Fauré Requiem, Vaughan Williams Serenade to Music, Stravinsky's Three Japanese Lyrics, and Sandstrom's Gloria (heard on CBC radio), as well as various other pieces.

She has also performed excerpts from the Mozart Mass in C Minor, and Haydn's Creation. Heather was the soprano section lead for Rosedale Presbyterian Church and the organist for Amberlea Presbyterian Church. Heather has given solo recitals, performed with many choirs and also performed as a member of the University of Toronto Opera Chorus.

Heather enjoys teaching both voice and piano and is accepting students of all ages.
