Student Opportunities
- Monthly recitals: Any HMTA student may perform
- Scholarships: Any HMTA student may apply for a scholarship to participate in summer music camp competition
- Ensemble Program: HMTA students join together for an ensemble experience
- Special Recitals: All-Boy, Beginners, Junior High
- Adult Recitals: Any level, informal sharing
- Christmas Festival: Any HMTA student may share Christmas music in consecutive recitals on a specific weekend and location
- Master Classes: As available
Community Service
- Scholarships: HMTA provides scholarships to music camps
- Community Concerts: Tickets available to selected HMTA students
- Provide teachers, soloists, ensembles and accompanists
- Support and encouragement to high musical standards for the Helena community
Spring Festival
- Each March, all teachers who are HMTA members have the opportunity to enter their students in the
Spring Festival. This is not a competition; rather, students perform a prepared selection and are given
on-the-spot insights and assistance in their performance of the piece by a highly qualified music
professional in the greater Helena area.
